Yes indeed, ‘sharing is caring’ is one of my favourite sayings. This is not only because I am an expert in the area of shared houses management, but because I love sharing my knowledge and my experience with others.
Having been able to train myself, obtain experience, and attend numerous seminars relating to this industry, I have been fortunate in having the chance to develop as an individual both professionally and spiritually. At present, we live in an information age, but still there are people who are struggling to find the right knowledge. I have always believed that if you know something, especially something that works, and someone else is asking for your advice or knowledge, you should go ahead and share it. Sharing won’t harm you; on the contrary – it will accelerate you towards receiving greater amounts of knowledge, in addition to more valuable experience, more confidence, and of course winning more business.
If I knew someone in North London doing HMO management and Guaranteed Rent services, I would always build a connection, establish a relationship, and share my knowledge and experience. I believe that together we can achieve better and greater things. My grand vision about the shared houses industry is to influence it for the better where every tenant in the house cares for each other, the landlord cares for tenants, and the tenants care for landlord. I see this as the great future for shared houses where people feel like they are at home and caring landlords feel proud for giving this home to people who care.
I organise events on a monthly basis for people in the HMO industry who are striving to succeed in this area. We share, we care, and we learn together while exchanging practical knowledge. I invest my time and energy in organising these events in order to bring people together. I don’t charge money for it as I see it as my contribution. I open doors to my knowledge and experience and, as a result, others doors will always open for me.
I encourage landlords to network with other landlords, exchange knowledge, share experience, and support each other as a community. I know that being a landlord is actually quite hard, but I certainly believe that, together, in a community where you can find answers and also share your own experiences, the journey will be much easier. Moreover, by doing so, we will actually create our own legacy and change other people’s lives for better.
So, yes, sharing is caring, and let’s create some more caring and meaning in this world!
